Help us get the word out about your session
In order to increase attendance at the meeting and drive interest in your session, we need your help getting the word out. Below we've written pre-populated E-mail Signatures and Pass-along E-mail Templates to help you "promote" your session. These are easy and effective ways to create awareness and help drive attendance at your session. But make sure you include specific information about YOUR session (presentation title, presentation date)
E-mail Signatures
Using e-mail signatures is a great way to promote your session at the ION GNSS 2012. Below you will find samples of good e-mail signatures you can use to promote your session at the conference. And, we've included instructions on setting up e-mail signatures in both Microsoft Outlook and Novell GroupWise formats.

How to Create an E-mail Signature in Outlook
To add an e-mail signature to your Outlook:
- Select Tools | Options... from the menu in Outlook.
- Go to the Mail Format tab.
- Click Signatures... under Signatures.
- Go to the E-mail Signature tab.
- Click New.
- Type the new signature's desired name.
- Click OK.
- Type the desired text of your signature under Edit signature.
- It is best to keep your signature to no more than five or six lines of text.
- To add your business card as a vCard file (with which recipients can import or update your contact details):
- Move the cursor where your business card should appear in the signature.
- Click Business Card in the formatting toolbar.
- Locate and highlight yourself.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
- Click OK again.
How to Create an E-mail Signature in Novell GroupWise
To add an e-mail signature to your Novell GroupWise:
- Open the Tools menu and select Options.
- Double-click Environment.
- Click the Signature tab.
- Put a checkmark in the Signature box, if there isn't one already
- Click New.
- Type a name for your Signature to differentiate it from any other signatures you plan to create.
- Use the blank signature palate to create your custom signature.
- To add HTML details such as a logo, color, bold, or other embellishments, click the double arrow (>>) on the right side of the signature tool bar.
- Check the Set as default box to set the signature as your default.
- When you are done creating signatures, click OK and then Close.
