Aug. 15 Have hotel reservations made at one of the official ION hotels. Reservations may be made on-line at www.ion.org, then click on the Online Hotel Reservations link under the ION GNSS 2012 heading.
Aug. 15 Last day to postmark conference registration without a late fee. (Please Note: Authors who are attending the meeting are required to pay registration fees.)
Aug. 23 Submission of completed paper formatted according to the sample provided (electronic version) and Copyright Release Form to ION National Office. If you are unable to have your paper completed by this date you must send/fax a photocopy of your Copyright Release Form which will notify us of your intent to publish in the proceedings. The original Copyright Release Form should accompany the final paper.
Sept. 17-21 ION GNSS 2012. If you are turning in your paper late and desire to have electronic copies of your paper available for distribution at the meeting you will need to bring the electronic copy of your paper on a CD, which you will need to submit at the author’s paper submission desk located in the registration area. However, ION prefers to receive the electronic version of papers by e-mail (meetings@ion.org). Papers submitted to the National Office by the August 23 deadline will be pre-loaded to the ION web site for attendee download. If you submit your paper by e-mail you will receive a notification within 2 business days. If you do not receive a confirmation receipt please contact Miriam Lewis at 703-366-2723 or by e-mail meetings@ion.org.

September. 30 No late papers will be accepted after this date.
REMINDERS:
- If you require a travel visa in order to attend ION GNSS 2012 begin the process immediately to ensure you obtain your visa in time to travel to the meeting. (If you will need a formal invitation letter from the ION please email meetings@ion.org with your request, including the address the letter should be mailed to.)
- If your paper must go through any kind of clearance process before it can be released to the public begin the process immediately to ensure you will be able to present your paper at the conference and be included in the published proceedings.
